FASTJET first revenue flight took-off in Tanzania.

As it was planned, today 29TH NOV, FastJet has eventually started its operations in Tanzania when its first revenue flight took off from Dar es Salaam (DAR) to Mwanza (MWZ).

Flight FN0161 from DAR to MWZ departed around 06:00a.m LT on a full boarded Airbus A319-111, 5H-FJA.

Later today, another flight will take off from Dar es Salaam (DAR) to Kilimanjaro (JRO). This is expected to be done using Airbus A319-112, 5H-FJB which is already positioned at the ramp at Julius Nyerere International Airport. 

We are now experiencing a new era in air travel in Tanzania and Africa at large.
