Tanzania’s premier airline, Precision Air (DSE:PAL) is resuming its
operations into Tabora effective May 15th, 2015.
A note from Precision Air read that "Please take note that
starting from May 15th this year, we shall start our flight operations between
Dar-es-Salaam –Tabora and Tabora – Kigoma."
According to Precision Air, flights will be
operating every Monday, Wednesday and Friday with special opening fares of just
TZS 267,000 (one way and tax inclusive) or TZS 399,000 ( Return and tax
inclusive).
This is great news for the people of Tabora and the travel
community at large.
Tanzania as a country is blessed with ample opportunities in
travel trade and tourism but still a big part of this country remains
excommunicated though rich with tourist attractions.
Tabora and Kigoma regions are located in western Tanzania and
counted as tourist hot spots due to their historical attractions and the
presence of chimpanzees there, but for years they lacked air transport
infrastructure and this made airlines to stop operating there. It’s just
recently Precision Air and Air Tanzania resumed their operations to Kigoma and
next is Tabora.
