Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on its way towards being Africa's gateway to the world

Almost 2 years have passed since the unfortunate inferno that raised down the Arrivals Terminal at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

JKIA has since the incident grown and is on its way towards being Africa's gateway to the world; This is with the opening of the airport's Terminal 1A and Terminal 2 and the ongoing development of the new International Arrivals- Terminal 1E, Terminal 1A's Arrivals function and the much anticipated Terminal 3 amongst other projects.

In these past two years, the airport's annual passenger handling capacity has grown from 2.5 million passengers to the current 7.5 million passengers.
